A 2001 graduate of Lander University, Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. After working in the field of physical therapy for over 3 years, Michelle attended Greenville Technical College and graduated in 2005 with her certificate in Massage Therapy and obtained her license through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. In 2006, she opened Spa West, the first and only full service salon in Laurens. Michelle graduated Greenville Technical College again in the spring 2007 with her certification in Esthetics. Michelle specializes in swedish and deep tissue massage and is certified for the professional use of Dermalogica for skin therapy.
Lisa Papleacos - Hair Stylist / Color Specialist
Lisa, an expert color specialist and stylist has mor than 20 years experience in the business. Her advanced training is with Redken 5th Avenue, Tressa, Wella, and L’Oreal. Her studies include tricology, extensive training in color, highlighting, and low lighting. She has also studied artistic haircutting expression which incorporates facial shapes, hair texture, and natural hair growth for the individual client. She was a salon owner/manager for 20 years in the Laurens area.
Janda King - Hair Stylist / Nail Technician / Color Specialist
Janda is a 1990 graduate of Academy of Hair Technology and has 20 years of experience in the hair and nail industry. She is certified by Redken and Tressa in hair cutting and coloring. Her advanced training includes coloring, cutting and hairdresing updo’s under top Redken instructors. She tributes her love for the business to education. "With all the education our industry provides, it allows me to keep my clients up to date with the latest trends. I love my career and I want it to show through my clients."
Heidi Patterson - Hair Stylist / Color Specialist
Heidi graduated from Royal Academy in 2004 where she won many awards including a young talent award in haircutting for the state of South Carolina. She has 6 years of experience and is certified through Redken and Tressa as a color specialist. Heidi also has advanced training in haircutting under top Redken instructors. Her forte is color and cutting as she strives to give her clients the individual attention she knows they deserve.
Lindsey Pitts - Hair Stylist / Color Specialist / Nail Technician / Make-up Artist
As a graduate of Royal Academy, a private South Carolina State Certified school, Lindsey has over 4 years experience in the hair styling industry. Upon graduating, Lindsey spent time training and assisting with a world renown stylist and colorist. Lindsey specializes in cutting and coloring, with her artistic vision and attention to detail. She enjoys creating styles that are individualized to her clients lifestyles and needs. Lindsey is trained in and has experience with Redken cutting and color techniques. She enjoys doing traditional as well as airbrush makeup for any occasion.
Leigh Anne Simpson - Hair Stylist / Color Specialist / Make-up Artist
A 2005 graduate of Winthrop University, Leigh Anne has 2 ½ years of experience of cut and color with Redken. She is trained in Pivot Point Style of cutting and spent a year training under world wide top 3 stylist, Vicki Stronczek. Leigh Anne attended the Academy of Hair Technology in Greenville, SC, a state board certified and a SC top 5 school. Her specialty is creating a custom look for each client and foil highlights and lowlights. Leigh Anne is the official hair stylist and makeup artist of Miss Laurens County and Miss Laurens County Teen Pageants.
